Client's Challenge
Sato Japanese Steakhouse, a well-known local restaurant in Columbia, SC, was heavily reliant on traditional marketing methods, such as phonebook ads and billboards. The restaurant had a minimal online presence, with a basic landing page that provided only contact information. The staff lacked the time and technological expertise to advance and manage their digital marketing effectively, which hindered their ability to reach a broader audience.
Our Solution
To overcome these challenges, we embarked on a comprehensive digital transformation. We designed an extensive, user-friendly website that showcased the full menu and was optimized for both web and mobile platforms. In addition, we developed monthly promotional ads that were used across various platforms, including Yelp, Facebook, and the restaurant's website. With market research, we also suggested the use of online delivery platforms, leading the integration and management of the restaurant's presence on multiple online food delivery platforms such as UberEats, DoorDash, Postmates, ChowNow, and BiteSquad.
The process involved a thorough approach, from initial research and planning to the final implementation and optimization stages, ensuring that the digital transformation was both effective and sustainable.
Research & Planning
We began with in-depth research into the restaurant's current digital footprint, target audience, and competitors. This phase also included identifying the best digital platforms and tools that could help Sato Japanese Steakhouse achieve its marketing goals.
Design & Prototyping
